Papercraft!

Minecrafty!
The point of this is to blog about my Minecraft experience and make Minecraft related crafty projects. I'm still fairly new to the game, just started Sunday, March 20th. Famous Last Words: "Well I doubt I'll play for more than an hour here or there."

I struck that sentence from the record 10 minutes into the game. I punched trees, pigs, and finally I punched a zombie to death before a creeper exploded me. That's all it took to spiral down into a shameless Minecraft addiction that spread to my husband and now we play together for hours and more hours.

--- onto the crafty part! ---

I made some papercraft for my husband's birthday last weekend. It was pretty easy, considering I went with the easiest papercraft object to make (a square thing).

It's seeping into real life now

Stacked!
I found these on the minecraft forums here

And this is what I worked on today; giant Gameboy.

It's over top of the Hill Fortress, which is located near Castle Gunderstank

and the Giant Toaster

I made a skin so that my Minecraft guy vaguely resembles me (only the hair doesn't match, I don't have the pink streak anymore :(

But then I also made Hamburger Face Guy for the hell of it:

This is the link for MC Skinedit that I used because I am far too lazy to start from complete scratch in Photoshop and the armory doesn't always give you what you're looking for. (Then there's always the skindex)
