- giant dirt block foot stool (2 reasons; 1. how cool would that look in the living room and 2. the reclining seats in the couch don't recline anymore because we had to nail a board across the back to keep the cats from getting under there and doing nefarious things, so a foot stool is needed)
- cube-y stuffed minecraft guys of Darren's and my avatars. Small, maybe like 6 inches tall
- more papercraft
Too bad neither of us has a birthday coming up because I wold SO make a chest pinata and fill it with goodies. Also we aren't 8 years old :P
In Minecraft:
Robert (who runs the server we play on) made a server map! It is massive, so I'll only upload a snippet here for some shameless self promotion. Also because my structures are the cutest from far away ^_^ Click this link to see my toaster castle, the giant gameboy, and floating Castle Gunderstank (which used to be on water and not ice until the weather update) to the right of Gunderstank is Porkchop Island. The toaster is plugged into a giant socket.
This weekend, I made some pixel art on top of my first "home", the 'Catacombs of Extreme Doom' (named for being built over a huge dungeon riddled with monsters and a spawner or 2) The doom level has since been decreased from red to yellow, but changing the name to 'Catacombs of Only Minor Amounts of Possibly Surprising Doom Sometimes' seems kinda lame. So extreme doom it is!
ANYways, I made a giant piranha plant on top of the catacombs.

I spent a ridiculous amount of time punch-dyeing sheep (because dyeing the sheep and then chopping the wool off it yields more than just dyeing a single wool block. Also it's more fun) and plotting out the design on graph paper (I know, how much free time must I have, right?) and finally starting in on the project. Conveniently, the mines below my current Hill Fortress (under the giant gameboy) are loaded with lag-mangling water and lavafalls which means Obsidian Ahoy! So I had tons of it. I didn't have nearly enough black wool, even with punch-dyeing with ink sacks.
